Pushing Limits?

knackered

As I complete Day 3 of the 60 Day Insanity Fitness Program I feel that I can’t quite see my comfort zone from where I currently am, I think the picture opposite is a fair reflection of how I feel right now 🙂

When I decided to do this, 2 colleagues at work said to me “if you do it, we’ll do it”.

So with the feeling that I had inspired 2 people, I decided to accept the challenge and started the regime on saturday.

As we are now 5% of the way through this, it feels more like stupidity than insanity, but a commitment, is a commitment, and as a leaders we need to set the example, I just wish it  was a little easier.

I know the early stages are the hard stages, and that it will get easier over time, so there is a light at the end of this tunnel. I also know that there will be great benefits: improved health and fitness; better body shape; and it should help me with my marathon running.

However, all of that seems a long way off as i type this post with one finger.

Hopefully my two colleagues won’t read this post, and tomorrow when I see them in the office, I will have recovered some degree of form and will look the picture of health and fitness.

To be honest, I do share how hard this is, I think it’s the best policy, I know they are finding it hard too, and I think there is comfort in knowing we are all struggling together.

Maybe it even motivates them to know they are beating the boss 🙂
