Goals for 2015

goals 2015I am a big fan of written goal, because when write them down, we increase the probability that they will be achieved, they become more concrete and we start to get our subconscious working with us on achieving them.

We still need to take action in order to achieve them, but our first action should be to write them down, to give them life ๐Ÿ™‚

So here are my goals for 2015:

  • Complete 4 Marathons, 2 in spring and 2 in the autumn, and raise money for cancer charities, ideally in Africa, Asia and Australia
  • Publish my 3rd book FAST, and for it to become a best seller on New York Times list
  • Write my 4th book, How to become an Inspiring Leaders
  • Speak at Ted or TedX Conference on FAST
  • Speak on Leadership in all 5 continents
  • Create a successful radio show, Inspiring Leadership Radio – continuing into 2016
  • Help my son Dan become more successful in his music career
  • Support my wife Carine in creating her own blog on Travel, Cooking and Photography
  • Create over 200 short leadership videos on my YouTube Channel
  • Help 1BillionAfrica double in size and influence
  • Write 200 Leadership articles for my blog
  • Run 5-day Inspiring Leadership Master Class
  • Create Inspiring Leadership Membership Group with over 100 members
  • Become a contributor for Inc, Forbes, or Huffington Post
  • Make Delray Beach my new home for at least the next 2-3 years
  • Help my brother Robert and his family relocate to the Florida
  • Get weight to under 80kg, that requires about a 5kg loss, by end of Q1
  • Take photos of the sunrise on Delray Beach, once a week, with my wife

Yesterday I wrote about doing something that scares us, and it would be remiss of me to not include something from that category. My good friend Cliff Moitt wants to climb Mount kilimanjaro, and if he decides to do that, then this would be a challenge that falls into that category.

I know my list is long, but so is 2015 ๐Ÿ™‚

10ย of them are related to speaking, writing and coaching on Leadership, which is something I do daily so I don’t tend to see these as separate goals, more aspirational outcomes of those actives.

I’ve tried to make my goals SMART – Specific, Measurable Achievable, Relevant and Time-boxed – as this really helps us in achieving them.
