Leaders of Today – Where Are They?

I’ve been thinking lately about the great leaders of today—those who have taken on the challenge and are now regarded as members of that esteemed group.

Having read Audacity of Hope by Barrack Obama I thought that he might become a great leader, but whether it’s because of the Global Economic Crisis that he has had to deal with, or partisan politics. I think the impact that he has made has been much less than what he had hoped, and certainly less than I had hoped.

We seem to live in an age where self-interest and money seem to be the main goals, celebrity is king and reality TV rules. It seems to be every man for himself.

So my question is where have all the Leaders gone?

Where will the next generation of Leaders come from and who will their role models be?
